Need a space to host your birthday party, work function or going away drinks, we’ve got you covered @ Hoo haa. We welcome all groups, large & small.

Housed on the top floor of a historic turn-of-the-century warehouse that was used by boot makers, iron mongers and drapers, Hoo haa is a bar, eatery and creative event space.

Large group bookings of up to 90 guests can be accommodated in our lounge overlooking Chapel Street.

Exclusive Venue Hire

For an exclusive whole venue booking, Hoo haa can seat up to 120 guests for a sit down event or 260 guests for cocktail style events, art or dance parties.

Our space features:

  • Full kitchen

  • 2 bars

  • Outdoor terrace

  • Seating up to 120 guests and standing up to 260 guests

  • Dancefloor and DJ facilities

Group Dinner’s – When you want to make it super easy!

Take the fuss and stress out of organising a dinner for a big group of people, let us do the work for you.

Our chefs menus are a great way to experience a range of food from the entire menu. 

The Crossing - $27 per person

A daily selection of dishes, chosen by our chef, served as 2 courses. This menu is designed to share and will give you a taste of our menu. 

The Crossroads - $40 per person

A daily selection of dishes, chosen by our chef, served as 3 courses. This menu is designed to share and let you experience a wide variety of dishes from our menu the Crossroads experience.

Add something sweet - $5 per person

Cocktail Functions

For a more relaxed event our front lounge/function space is perfect for groups and of 20 – 90 guests with plenty of banquette seating and standing space.

Standard Lounge Booking

Half Lounge Reservation – 20 to 30 guests
$250 minimum spend on pre-selected canapes and/or beverages

Full Lounge Reservation – 30 to 90 guests
$500 minimum spend on pre-selected canapes and/or beverages

Credit card details are required to confirm the booking, we do not charge anything onto the card unless less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is given or if there is significant drop in numbers.

Venue Hire Options

 

Pecking Order – High Table Drinks and Bar Snacks Reservation
Coming up for drinks but not wanting a full sit down dinner and meal? Our high bar tables are perfect for casual drinks and snacks. 12 guests can be accommodated on bar stools placed around the table.

Waterbird Package – Couch Reservation
Just looking to come up for some causal drinks with a group of friends, why not reserve a couch space right by the bar. Approximately groups of 10 per couch section. Reservations are taken for the couches up until 8:30pm at that latest for Friday and Saturday nights.

Guest List (Friday and Saturday nights)
